Bin Ali pardons several prisoners

The Tunisian President Zein al-Abidin Bin Ali on Tuesday issued an Amnesty for several prisoners. This Amnesty was taken on the occasion of the 44th anniversary of the Republic's day which falls today. The new amnesty covered reducing the imprisonment period.
In the Amnesty decision, the Tunisian president renewed his stress on the importance on that those who are given the amnesty to be integrated in the social life and the economic cycle. He, in this regard, recommended, the need of finding out social and psychological reasons behind the crimes committed by the prisoners especially youths among them.
