Regional, Politics, 7/25/2001
The secretary general of the Arab league Amr Moussa has announced that there are underway consultations to convene an Arab summit to discuss the deteriorated conditions in the region as a result of the continued Israeli aggressions against the Palestinian people and Israel's threats to Syria and Lebanon.
In a statement he made on Tuesday, Moussa stressed that the Palestinian Intifada came as a natural reaction to the Israeli aggressions against the unarmed Palestinian people. He explained that the Palestinian Intifada can not be halted as far as the Israeli aggression continues against the Palestinian people.
