Iraq missile against a US warplane

An official at the US state department said on Friday that Iraq has launched a ground- to air missile in the Kuwaiti airspace on Thursday at a US warplanes which was carrying a sortie.
News reports quoted the US official as saying that it seemed that the target was a US plane on a mission in southern Iraq. But the Iraqi missile missed its target and the American sorties continue naturally, the American official said.
