New children book series in family library

The General Egyptian Book Organisation (GEBO) will publish a new series of books for the Family Library under the sponsorship of Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak.
Mrs. Mubarak launched this new national project under the motto "Read for Your Child" with the aim of cultivating in the children the habit of reading and seeking knowledge, particularly in the pre-school stage.
In a statement to MENA on Friday, GEBO Chief Samir Sarhan said, "Read for Your Child" series include a number of books on the basic skills that should be taught to children aging from 3 months to 3 years."
He added that the activities of "Reading For All" Festival this year attaches special importance to children in the pre-school stage and in order to be taught the primary information such as numbers, colours and basic behaviors.
