British envoy to arrive in Syria on Tuesday

The Minister in charge of the Middle East and the Common - wealth affairs at the British Foreign ministry Bin Bradshow will pay a visit to Syria next Tuesday in a framework of a tour on the region that will cover several countries.

The British official will be meeting with several officials in Syria in order to discuss with them several issues on the regional and bilateral relations between Syria and Britain and means of developing them.

On Thursday the said British official discussed with the secretary general of the Arab League Amr Moussa the developments of the deteriorated conditions in the Middle East region, the ME peace process and its current stalemate on all tracks as a result of the escalated Israeli aggressions against the Palestinians and its threats to Syria and Lebanon.

In a statement following the meeting with Mousa, the British official underlined the importance of pushing things in the Middle East towards easing down conditions and realizing security and stability.

Worthy mentioning that the British official is currently in Cairo in a framework of a visit covering also Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, the Palestinian territories and Israel. SANA.
