UAE minister vows backing for the Intifada

The United Arab Emirates UAE minister of state for foreign affairs Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed al-Nahyan has stressed that the occupied Palestinian territories will return back to their owners.

He said: " we will pray in holy Jerusalem if Sharon will accept this or not." During his meeting on Tuesday with several wounded of the Palestinian Intifada Sheikh Hamdan called on the international community to rescue the Palestinian people by ensuring international protection for them in confrontation of the criminal and brutal acts carried against them by the Israeli government of Ariel Sharon, with the aim to uproot the Palestinians and exterminate them.

Sheikh Hamdan questioned:" where is humanity, where is human rights claimed by the West. Do they see what the Palestinian children have been exposed to of acts of killing. ?" He stressed the support of the UAE for the just struggle mounted by the Palestinian people to restore back their legitimate rights.
