King Mohammed finances mosque rehabilitation

Morocco's King Mohammed VI has decided to pay for the rehabilitation works of an ancient mosque in the northern city of Tangiers, the endowments and Islamic affairs department said in a release. The cost of the works is estimated at 5 million dirhams (more than 500,000 US dollar).
The king performed the Friday prayers last week in the mosque, located in the old district of Tangiers.
