Former Iranian president confers with Jordanian ambassador

Former Iranian President Ayatatullah Sheikh Hashami Rafsanjani has called on all Arab and Islamic states to "support the Palestinian people and their heroic uprising in being the only way to restore back the occupied territories and the usurped rights."
During his meeting on Tuesday with the Jordanian ambassador in Tehran Nouh Ali Salman, Rafsanjani stressed the need of the caution by Muslims and Arabs towards Israel's conspiracies and plans, noting that Israel pretends to be careful to maintaining peace, yet "it has all evils for the countries of the region."
He added "the withstanding the Zionist schemes and its supporting forces requires more cooperation and coordination among the Arab and Islamic states and taking united and solid stances because the Zionist danger threatens all without an exception."
