Solana phones Peres
Israel-European Union, Politics, 7/18/2001
The official in charge of foreign and security affairs in the European Union Javier Solana on Tuesday made a telephone call with the Israeli foreign minister Shimon Peres. The Israeli Hebrew language radio said that Solana stressed to Peres that he will arrive in the region by the end of the current week in order to help in fixing what is called cease- fire.
