Bin Aleazer cancels visit to the US

The Israeli defense minister Benjamin Bin Aleazer has announced the cancellation of his visit due to be today to the USA.
The Israeli Hebrew language radio said on Wednesday that canceling the visit relates to the security condition prevailing in the region and that another date will be set to make the said visit.
On the other hand, Bin Aleazer has called on the US to exert tremendous efforts in order to pressure the chairman of the Palestinian Authority Yasser Arafat to halt what he has called the acts of violence in the Palestinian territories.
In an interview with the Israeli " Jerusalem Post " daily issued on Tuesday, the Israeli defense minister admitted that the Israeli army is not able to protect all the settlers, even if the Israeli army number were greater.
