Seven Arab states exempt Palestinian goods from taxes

Seven Arab states on Sunday decided to exempt Palestinian goods from taxes in accordance with the resolutions of the recent Arab summit in this respect, Kuwaiti news agency KUNA reported.
The seven countries are Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Yemen, Iraq, Tunisia, Bahrain and Syria.
The Palestinian economy department said it was preparing a clear program to benefit from these decisions and the possibility of implementing them actually and to look into how that matter could reflect on the Palestinian private sector.
It said it was fully coordinating with the concerned ministries, trade chambers and the Palestinian trade center to look into the best means of benefiting from these facilities.
