News reports quoted the Yemeni dailies as saying on Sunday that the agreement was signed within the framework of the visit held by the speaker of the Lebanese parliament to Yemen, where he attended the emergency session of the Arab parliamentary Union.

Berri held talks with al-Ahmar dealt with several issues of concern on the regional and international levels.

The Speaker of the Yemeni parliament stressed his country's backing to Lebanon's rights to restoring all its territories including the Shebaa farms and the right of Lebanon to just compensation for the destruction inflected on it at the hands of the Israeli occupation forces and the immediate need of releasing the Lebanese detainees held in the Israeli jails.
