Germany wants to be strong Morocco partner

Germany wishes to remain a solid partner of Morocco, German secretary of state for economic cooperation and development, Ms. Uschi Eid, said.

German wishes to remain a solid partner of Morocco and respect and preserve the Kingdom's interests especially regarding the enlarging of the European Union, she told the press.

Germany extended Morocco 3 billion Deutsch Marks (DM) in assistance to development. Some 500 million DM went to water projects.

The German official is currently on a four-day work visit to Morocco. She already conferred with several Morocco government officials on means to upgrade cooperation ties between her country and the North African kingdom.
