King Mohammed meets UNESCO chief

Morocco's King Mohammed VI, accompanied by Princess Lalla Meryem, received in Tangier Friday Koichiro Matsuura, Director-General of the UNESCO. Matsuura handed to Princess Lalla Meryem, chairwoman of the National Child Right Observatory, the certificate of her appointment as UNESCO Good-Will Ambassador, in recognition to her action to defend child's rights and causes around the World.
Matsuura also handed to the Princess the United Nations passport and the UNESCO emblem.
The UNESCO chief then handed King Mohammed VI medals of the World agency.
The king decorated Matsuura with the Alawite Wissam of the Commander rank.
