Arab- Sat profits were $ 49 million for 2000

The director general of the telecommunications establishment Muhammad Marouf has stressed that the Arab establishment for space telecommunications "Arab Sat" enjoys a good financial position as its profits for the year 2000 were $ 49 million. This means the interest of all board of directors and companies to the continued success of this establishment.
Marouf's statement was made after the end of the meetings of Arab Sat council on Tuesday in Damascus.
Worthy mentioning that Arab Sat capital is $ 162,141,262 divided into 1631 shares, with a price of $ 100,000 per each share fully paid by the Arab states members in Arab Sat establishment.
