One Palestinian woman was killed by the Israelis

Palestinian woman Rasmiyah Joudeh Jabrin ( 40 year old) from al-Zahereyah village, of al-Khalil district was killed when the Israeli soldiers opened fire at a taxi trying to avoid the barriers installed by the Israeli forces in the West Bank.

Meantime, the Israeli army closed main and only entrance for al-Mawasi area near Nafe Dekalim settlement in Khan Younis and reinforced its military presence at the main cross- roads in Gaza.

Palestinian sources said that the Israeli army closed al-Tuffah barrier to the west of Khan Younis and prevented the Palestinians from practicing their activities and installed more military checking points and barriers on the way to Gaza, while the Israeli settlers continued their provocation against the Palestinians especially between the Arab quarters to the East of Jerusalem where confrontations took place with the Palestinian teenagers resulted in damaging one car for the Israeli settlers and fleeing of its passengers to one of the military positions.

Meanwhile, the spokesman for the council of the Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank said that all recently evacuated settlement buildings have been converted into regular military centers occupied by members of the Israeli army. The spokesman added that the settlements council agreed with the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon and his defense minister on that if the settlers are obliged to evacuate settlement buildings this does not mean to hand them over to the Palestinian Authority, rather to the Israeli army to be converted into camps and control points.
