WB probes development strategies in Egypt over three years
Egypt, Economics, 7/11/2001
Deputy Executive Director of the World Bank (WB) ambassador Mohammed Ramel Amr said that Egypt's name is not included in any of the Bank' s documents or any reports or studies anywhere in the world related to money laundering.
It is worth noting that Egypt is to issue an independent legislation in this respect, to be referred to the Cabinet prior to submitting it to the People's Assembly in its coming session.
This besides a package of legislations and strict instructions issued by the control authorities in Egypt combating money laundering that will also be referred to the money Laundering Committee of the Economic Cooperation and development Organization.
