King Mohammed receives spouse of French president

Morocco's King Mohammed VI received on Tuesday in the royal palace in Tagiers the spouse of the French president, Mrs. Bernadette Chirac, who is an honorary member at the Mohammed V solidarity foundation. The king, who was accompanied by Prince Moulay Rachid and princesses Lalla Meryem, Lalla Asmae and Lalla Hasnae, then hosted a dinner in honor of his guest.
Mrs. Chirac was made honorary member of the foundation in view of her leading role and painstaking actions in social fields.
France's first lady arrived on Tuesday in Tangiers where she was welcomed at the airport by Mohamed Rochdi Chraibi, head of the sovereign's office, Mrs Zoulika Nasri, advisor to King Mohammed VI and French ambassador in Morocco, Michel de Bonnecorse.
