On relations between Turkey and Israel

Israel's former ambassador in Ankara Zeve al-Beleigh has stated that it is in the interest of Israel that Turkey will have good relations with both Syria, Iran, Iraq and Greece as this will lead to the possibility that Israel will develop its relations with these states via Ankara.

He added in an interview with the Turkish daily " Zamaan " issued on Tuesday that Turkey enjoys traits that make of her a center that attracts the establishment of peace, thanks to its geographical location and its relations with its neighbors in that it is able to host Israel, Syria and other countries in non- political conferences held to discuss matters relating to the areas of the environment, health and agriculture.
