Arab banks pledge to develop financial industry

Secretary general of Arab Banks Union Fouad Shaker on Monday voiced the Union's commitment to serve banking sector, develop financial industry and boost cooperation between Arab bankers.
This came during the Union's inauguration of a seminar, themed "new image for developing human resources."
Shaker said the issue of developing human resources became a major factor For the process of development and growth of corporations in general and banking and financial institutions in particular.
He s called for developing active and efficient human skills, which became a source of great concern of banks in general.
President of Arab Banks Union, Joseph Terbiya spoke during the seminar about the danger of widen lack of information between Arab and world banks.
Terbiya said that "Arab banks within its new strategy and leadership are determined to tighten this lack between Arab and international banks."
The two-day seminar will discuss issues related to policies and procedures concerning human resources and future of human resources development.
The seminar aims at setting up strategic challenges facing Arab banks.
