Spanish labor party delegation expected in Morocco
Morocco-Spain, Politics, 7/10/2001

A delegation from the Spanish Socialist Labor Party (PSOE, opposition) is expected in Morocco on Wednesday for talks with Moroccan officials on Moroccan-Spanish relations.

Sources close to the party said the PSOE delegation's talks in Morocco will focus on issues pertaining to immigration and reforms operated by Morocco since the enthronement of King Mohammed VI.

The delegation includes the spokesman of the socialist group at the Spanish lower house, Jesus Caldera, and socialist secretary for social policies and migration, Consuelo Rudi.

They will meet Prime Minister, Abderrahmane Youssoufi, and several members of the government as well as members of the Moroccan parliament.

PSOE secretary-general, Jose Luis Rodriguez, will visit Morocco next fall.
