Yemeni president ratifies two agreements on oil production

The Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh has ratified two agreements to participate in oil production with the two oil companies of the Canadian Nixon and the American oil company " Occidental Petroleum Corp." The Yemeni TV said that Nixon company will, according to the agreement, will carry out excavation works in the area (59) in Eastern Hadramout province, while " occidental petroleum" is exploring in " zone 44 " also situated in Hadramout.
Worthy mentioning that Occidental Petroleum is a partner to Nixon the largest producer of oil in Yemen which works in al-Maselah district in Hadramout.
