Temple, tomb unearthed in Beheira

The archaeological mission of the Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University, Damanhour Branch, unearthed an ancient temple that dates back to the era of the Old Kingdom (4500 BC). Four pottery and copper as well as alabaster vessels to keep ornamental substances and cosmetics were discovered.
Hassan Al-Sheriff, the mission's chief, said a cemetery was also unearthed, noting it is believed to contain some holy animals.
