Israel's former ambassador in Turkey Ori Burner has stated that the strategic alliance between Israel and Turkey, backed by the US will make any side of special ideas to reconsider these ideas twice before they will carry out any act, in remarks to Syria, as an example.

In an interview with the Turkish daily " Daily news" issued on Friday, the Israeli former ambassador added that when Turkey decided to withstand Syria in the year 1998 because of the activities of the Kurdistan workers party, one of the reasons that made President Hafez al-Assad expelled Abdullah Ocalaan when he looked towards the North and saw Turkey and towards the south and saw Israel, " despite the fact we announced at that time we will not take part in a military attack waged by Turkey, noting that the good relations between Israel and Turkey and the might of the two armies were also, at the same time, a deterrent force.

He indicated that settling the question of waters between Turkey, Iraq and Syria will constitute an unprecedented experience to settle other water disputes among countries which share one river, the same as happening now between Syria and Israel.
