Syria denies launching Skud missile

The Syrian minister of defense Lt. Gen. Mustafa Tlass on Monday denied news reports claimed by Israel that Syria had launched a missile as test on Sunday.
Tlass told news reporters " we do not have missiles and no missile was fired from Syria, even for testing purposes."
On Sunday a spokesman for the Israeli army told the AFP hat an Israeli radar monitored on Sunday morning the launching of a grond to ground missile of " Skud" type from the Syrian city of Aleppo ( in the north of Syria) that fell in a desert area to the southern part of Syrian. The Israeli military spokesman said that the said missile was for " a trial " purpose."
