Israel continues attacks, tightened siege on Hebron

The Israeli occupation forces escalted its attacks against the Palesinians and once again violated the cease- fire agreement amid extremists Israeli calls for more acts against the Palestinian Intifada.
On Tuesday, the Israeli forces broke into Yata village in the Hebron mountain and demolished several houses and farms whereas the Israeli bulldozers uprooted its trees.
The Israeli forces also imposed a tough siege on Hawara village near Nablus while the Israeli settlers started to burn Palestinian properties in the surrounding of the village and they blocked its entrances by cement blocs.
Similarily, the Israeli forces imposed tightened siege measures on the old town of Hebron and its surrounding area and arrested three Palestinian officers at military barriers between the two cities of Ramullah and Nablus. They are Ahmad Bargouthi and Salim Barghouthi from Deir Abu Mashaal village and Jamal Zeidan from Selfeit village.
Palestinian news sources said that Abdul Rahman al-Ahmar from al-Dheisha village was arrested several days ago and was exposted to physical torture without any accusation and he is still now under administrative arrest.
The Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon gave his instructions to the military departments to take a series of measures against the Palestinians under the pretext of self-defense, at a time when the mini- Israeli cabinet took measures to fight what was called by the Israeli radio " the terrorism" of the Palestinians.
The chairman of the Israeli extremist movement Shas Ovadia Youseif asked the Prime Minister Sharon to start measures to eliminate the Intifada.
The Palestinians retaliated to the Israeli measures by bombarding two Israeli positions near Rafah and " Ghadib" settlement near Gaza.
The al-Aqsa martyrs groups of the " Fatah" movement announced responsibility for killing the Israeli settler Maer Sena'i in al-Khalil mountain. In a statement, the groups said " the Palestinian fighters carried out several operations against Israeli soldiers in retaliation to their criminal operations." Palestinian teenagers clashed with a position for the Israeli army near Khan Younis and threw two bombs. Near Hawarah village in Nablus district.
Palestinian demonstrators also burnt Israeli and American flags during a massive demonstration near Balatah camp in Nablus.
The demonstrators who performed a military parade for members of al-Aqsa martyrs group who stressed "to continue the Intifada and to repel the Israeli brutal aggressions."
Meantime, the former chairman of the Palestinian negotiating delegation Haidar Abdul Shafi stressed the need of the continued Intifada until the legitimate rights of the Palestinians are restored and Israel's commitment to the implementation of UN resolutions.
The chairman of the Palestinian intelligence Lt. Gen. Ameen al-Hindi held the government of Sharon the resonsibility of the policy of assassination pursued by Israel and rejection to adopt the Tenet plan to cease- fire.
