A call to establish a common pharmaceutical market

The chairman of the chamber of medical industries and medical requirements in Egypt Dr. Jalal Ghurab has underlined the importance of establishing the common Arab pharmaceutical market to withstand the consequences of the decisions of the world trade organization and articles of protecting the intellectual property through implementing several.
He explained that such a market can be established through founding Arab establishments so as to join strategic alliances with international companies and to support scientific research in the area of pharmaceutical industries.
Ghurab said that at the meantime there is a study to establish a regional center for pharmaceitical reseaches as a joint company including Arab medicines producing companies, which are Egypt, Syria, Algeria and Jordan.
