Lebanon protests to the UN against Israel

Lebanon has protested to the UN against Israel for committing an air aggression against the Lebanese territories on Sunday

Lebanese oficial sources said that Lebanon's permanent representative at the UN Salim al-Tadmuri handed the note of protest to the UN secretary general Kofi Annan and asked for the circulation to the chairman and members of the UN Security Council as an official document.

The Lebanese foreign ministry informed the Lebanese missions abroad about the details of the Israeli aggressions against the Lebanese territorues.

Meantime, the Lebanese government in its Thursday's session will discuss suing Israel for its aggressive acts. The Lebanese Bahij Tayyara prepared a report to this session to take a legal form. The said report indicated that Israel caused the killing and wounding of thousands of Lebanese and geart material losses and displacing throusands of Lebanese from their villages and houses.
