Tunisia, Morocco hold 2nd political consultation session
Tunisia-Morocco, Politics, 7/2/2001

Morocco's minister of foreign affairs and cooperation, Mohamed Benaissa, and Tunisian peer, Habib Ben yahia held in Tunis on Saturday the second political consultation meeting.

The two sides hailed the excellence of bilateral relations and measures taken to intensify exchanges and consolidate cooperation between Morocco and Tunisia.

On Sunday, Benaissa was received by Tunisian president, Zine El Abidine Benali to whom he conveyed a message from King Mohammed VI.

The two states' foreign ministers also reviewed the Arab maghreb construction process and means to activate it, latest developments in the Middle East, in the Arab world and Africa and Euro-Mediterranean cooperation.

The head of the Tunisian diplomacy told MAP bilateral cooperation in "constructive and fruitful" and the intensive exchange of visits by politicians, technicians, businessmen and media people are clear evidence to the excellent relations.
