Tunisia's Ben Ali gets message from King Mohammed

President Zine Al-Abidine Ben Ali of Tunisia on Saturday received a message from King Mohammed VI.
Moroccan foreign affairs and cooperation minister, Mohamed Benaissa, who handed the message, said his talks with the Tunisian President dealt with prospects of bilateral cooperation as well as with the two states' joint action at the level of the Maghreb, the Middle-East peace process and the Euro-Mediterranean relations.
Talks also covered the topics debated by the meeting Saturday in Tunis of the Moroccan-Tunisian Commission for Political consultation, said Benaissa, who noted that Rabat and Tunis have converging standpoints and are both determined to go ahead with the consolidation of their bilateral relations and the edification of the Arab Maghreb Union (UMA).
UMA was set up in 1989 by Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya and Mauritania.
