A Saudi delegation in Jordan to discuss the establishment of a free trade zone

A Saudi delegation including representatives for both the private and public sectors will pay a visit to Jordan next week to discuss the draft agreement to establish a free trade exchange zone between the two states, according to the Saudi daily al-Watan in its Thursday's issue.
The paper added that the agreement stated to establish this zone gradually and within a period of time not to exceed the year 2005 in a way that customs fees, taxes and other fees will be reduced on commodities of Saudi and Jordanian origin.
The agreement also states to subjugate the exchanged agricultural commodities of the agricultural list applied in the framework of the executive program of the Arab League, on founding the greater Arab free trade area.
