Beshara: resistance is a legitimate right

The Palestinian intellectual Azmi Beshara ( who is a member of the Israeli Knesset) has stressed that resistance is a legitimate rights for the Palestinian people, adding that the accusations addressed to him by the Israeli judicial consultant during investigations with him on Wednesday are groundless.

In an interview with the BBC on Thursday Beshara added that the aim behind the accusations addressed to him is to make illegitimate the Arab and Palestinian national address.

He added:" we are waging the battle of liberation with Israel. The battle of the right and legitimacy for our political line, because we are Arabs Palestinians before Israel had existed and we have the right to resist it."
