Morocco's embassy extends assistance to earthquake victims in Peru

Morocco's embassy in Lima has donated a batch of blankets to the victims of the earthquake that shook southern Peru last Saturday. The donation by the embassy's staff was handed over Tuesday to the Peruvian national civil defense institute.
About 100 people were killed and more than 1,300 were injured in the tremor that reached 8.1 degree on the Richter scale.
More than 11,100 lodgings were destroyed leaving nearly 46,500 homeless people.
