Morocco calls for improving pan-islamic body's working methods

Morocco called for improving the working method of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) to help it participate more actively in international decision-making.
The call was made by Moroccan secretary of state for foreign affairs and cooperation, Taieb Fassi Fihri, in a speech before the 28th session of the OIC ministerial conference, held June 25-27 in Bamako.
Fihri also called for instituting regular ministerial meetings to ensure more cohesion to the pan-Islamic body's action and shore up solidarity among member states.
