Arab community in Detroit boycotts Bush meeting, attended by Olmert

The Arab officials at the American Muslim council on Monday refused an invitation to attend a meeting in which the US President George Bush will deliver a speech in Detroit in protest that the Mayor of " occupied Jerusalem" Ehud Olmert is taking part in the meeting.
News reports said that the chairman of the council Ali Abu Zaouq issued a statement in which he stressed that Olmert presence in this meeting does not serve the peace process in the Middle East not the Arab interests.
In its statement, the American Islamic council called on the US administration to be fair, neutral and non- biased in monitoring a critical and very shaky situation in the Middle East.
