Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak sponsors Arab Conference for childhood rights

Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak presided over the 7th meeting of the National Women's Council.
Addressing the meeting, Mrs. Mubarak said the coming stage will witness a detailed action plan of the council in the various governorates.
The Council is about to complete drafting a national plan to upgrade conditions of women.
A women's council meeting will be held in each governorate on the day marking its national day.
The General Congress will be held in March every year in Cairo.
Mrs. Mubarak said that the National Women Council encourages women to make positive contributions in the activities of all sectors of the state and take part in moulding the future of society.
Meanwhile, the council's secretary general Dr. Farkhonda Hassan said that Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak focused on the necessity of coordinating with ministers concerned in all fields as the council isn't an executive part as stated in the republican decree.
Dr. Farkhonda Hassan pointed that the council approved a working plan in the field of cooperation with international organizations and donating parties to fully benefit from all the technical and financial support offered by them.
On the other hand, the Arab conference for childhood rights will be held under the sponsorship of Mrs. Mubarak Monday evening at the Arab League headquarter to agree on a future Arab vision that aims at promoting joint Arab mechanism to develop childhood.
Jordanian Queen Rania, chairman of Arab Council for childhood Emir Talal Bin Abd AL-Aziz and AL-Hariri Association in Lebanon, in addition to a number of prominent figures and establishments concerned with Arab children affairs, will take part in the three-day conference.
