Yemeni Socialist party supports government's call to maintain dialogue on elections law

The Yemeni opposition Socialist Party has voiced backing to the call advocated by the Yemeni government to maintain a dialogue with the political parties and forces on amending the current election law.

The central committee of the said party underlined the importance of this political dialogue, noting it concentrates on deriving lessons from the total election experiences Yemen has already waged in previous areas so as to maintain close cooperation among all political forces to boost and then introduce the democratic experience.

The central committee also stressed the importance of correcting the current election lists and finding out effective mechanism to ensure the neutrality of the official ( state Ğrun) media, the public assets, the public work and the security and defense departments.
