Syria, Egypt, Jordan refuse smart sanctions

The Iraqi deputy premier and minister of finance Hikmat Ibrahim al-Ezzawi has stated that the governments of Egypt, Syria and Jordan informed him during his visit to the three states total rejection to the " smart sanctions" project debated at the meantime at the UN Security Council.
Al-Ezzawi who visited the three states, delegated by the Iraqi President Saddam Hussein said that President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt stressed Egypt's position in refusing the sanctions, that America tries to impose on the Iraqi people, noting that Egypt does not support any formula or new project of the sanctions imposed on Iraq since almost 11 years.
Al-Ezzawi continued that the Syrian prime minister Muhammad Mustafa Miro stressed to him Syria's support for the total lifting of the siege imposed on the Iraqi people and also her rejection to imposing new sanctions or any new formula that will place new obstacles before lifting the siege.
Al-Ezzawi continued that the Jordanian prime minister Ali Abu al-Ragheb stressed also to him his country's rejection to the American proposal and Jordan's desire to expand the prospects of c-operation between the two countries.
