UN discusses preventing armed disputes
Egypt participated in the UN session held late Thursday on means of playing more effective roles in preventing armed disputes. Egypt's Chief Delegate at the UN Ambassador Ahmed Abu El-Gheit said Egypt made a statement, in which he voiced support for the recommendations included in the UN Secretary General Kofi Annan's report in this respect.
