Armed Forces keep up with world development

The Egyptian Field Marshal Hussein Tantawi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, said that the Egyptian Armed Forces continue development and modernization to keep pace with innovations in the art of defense and combat in the light of the non-stopping scientific and technological advance, the information revolution and advanced techniques.
Speaking Saturday at the graduation ceremony of a new batch of officers from the commanders and Staff College, Field Marshal Tantawi said that the armed forces stand ready at any time in a world full of conflicts and blocs.
Graduates included cadets from ten countries. They are Yemen, Lebanon, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and woman, Mauritania, Pakistan and Egypt.
