Ethiopian- Sudanese oil cooperation

One of the Ethiopian dailies said that Ethiopia intends to import 85% of its oil needs from Sudan as from next year.
The state run weekly " Addis Zemin" said that an agreement was signed last week in Khartoum between the two countries according to which Ethiopia will import 120 metric tons of Benzene and 36,000 metric tons of Kerosene annually. This will save for the treasure a sums if $ 7 million.
Worthy mentioning that the value of Ethiopia's imports of oil by products from the world market is estimated at $ 120 million annually.
