Iraq complains to the UN over US, British raids

Iraq on Friday warned that the US, British strikes which resulted in killing 23 Iraqi civilians and wounded other 11 to the west of al-Mousel will be questioned, accusing Washington and London of trying to exterminate the Iraqi people. In a message he addressed to the Secretary general of the UN Security Council Kofi Annan, the chairman of the Iraqi parliament Sadoun Hammadi called for condemning the American- British raids against north Iraq and to try those who committed in being a pre - perpetuated this crime.
He also called on the UN to work seriously for halting the continued daily aggression launched by the US and Britain against Iraq and its people.
