Libya withdraws its forces from central Africa

The BBC radio quoted the Libyan news agency as saying that Libya has decided to withdraw its forces from the Republic of Central Africa. The forces which helped in foiling the coupe ( of May 28) and restored back legitimacy ( at the request of President Inj- Felex Bapatsi.

The agency explained that Libya will leave behind in " central Africa" "a small contingent of its forces" also at the request of Central Africa President to train the army of central Africa and the Presidential guards.

The coupe attempt was foiled on May 28 and battles erupted between forces supporting the President and rebellion forces in Bangui, the capital of central Africa and lasted for ten days.
