Israeli settlers burn Arab farms

One Palestinian was killed when the Israeli soldiers opened fire at him at an inspection point near Nablus, and four Palestinians were wounded by the Israeli forces fire in Khan Younis including a ten-year old child.

The Israeli forces beat the Palestinian child Islam Tareq in Beit Sourik in Nablus.

The Israeli settlers, on the other hand built a new settlement near Asreen town under the protection of the Israeli forces which besieged the town from all sides.

Other Israeli settlers opened fire in the Palestinian farms near Beit Leid and Rameen villages and Kafer Qanin in the areas of Toulkarem and Qilqilya and burnt olive trees in Garroun, Azba, Abu Khamis, Ayoud, and al-Azareyah in Toulkarem resulted in destroying almost 2000 dunnums from olive and pistachio trees.

An opinion poll issued in Jerusalem on Wednesday showed that 78% of the settlers support the policy pursued by Ariel Sharon and refuse to leave their settlements in the West bank.

On Wednesday, the Israeli mini cabinet held a meeting chaired by prime minister Ariel Sharon during which the Israeli defense minister Benjamin Bin Aleazer was authorized to take and implement all military decisions against the Palestinians at any time he finds it suitable without consulting the Israeli Cabinet.
