Senegalese president pays private visit to Morocco

Senegalese president, Abdoulaye Wade, arrived on Monday night in Tangiers for a private visit. The Senegalese head of state, who is accompanied by his spouse Viviane Wade, was welcomed at the airport by justice minister, Omar Azziman, and interior minister, Ahmed El Midaoui. Following the private visit, Wade is expected on Tuesday night in France for an official visit and talks with the French president and prime minister.
Abdoulaye Wade, elected in March 2000, paid in May 2000 an official visit to Morocco and met with King Mohammed VI, who returned the visit one year later.
