Libya, Gambia to boost bilateral relations

Libyan foreign minister Ali Abdul Salaam al-Tureiki in Monday in Tripoli discussed with the two ministers of foreign affairs and Finance in Gambia, Muhammad Seidat Joub and Qamara Jata, respectively means of strengthening Libyan- Gambia bilateral relations and results of the joint Libyan- Gambia co-operation committee recently held in Gambia.
The two sides also discussed means of strengthening the march of the African federation and building its various institutions and regional and international issues of mutual concern.
Gambia's foreign minister expressed his country's desire to boost its relations with Libya in various fields and to work jointly in the service of the issues of the African continent. He commended Libya's constructive role in dealing with problems of this continent and efforts to attain it a progress.
