Yemeni president visits Washington

The US ambassador to Yemen Barbara Budin said that a visit will be held by the Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh to Yemen during the two coming months will contribute to strengthen relations between the two countries.
The Yemeni foreign minister Abu baker al-Qurabi had discussed with the ambassador bilateral relations and prospects relating to them in the service of the two countries' interests.
During the meeting the American ambassador stressed that Yemeni-American relations are excellent, noting the attempts of the two countries to develop them continuously. She added that the visit the Yemeni President will hold to the USA within the two coming months will contribute to strengthen these relations.
Meantime, the Yemeni foreign minister stressed the importance of US- American relations in all fields.
Discussions between the two sides dealt with prevailing issues in the Middle East and Yemen renewed in this respect its position on the need of achieving a just and comprehensive peace in occupied Palestine according to international legitimacy resolutions so as to attain stability and security in the region.
