Saudi Arabia in the international committee for the use of outer space

Saudi Arabia was approved unanimously to the committee on using the outer space for peaceful purposes, by the UN committees group and to be a permanent member at the committee as from its 44th session.
Arab diplomatic sources in Vienna, Austria said that Saudi Arabia joining the outer space committee is but the fruit of the great efforts exerted by the government of al-Riyadh to support the activities relating to the development of capabilities of space- sciences for peaceful purposes.
