A new chief for customs department in Syria

The London - based al-Zamaan ( times) daily said in news from Damascus that in the framework of the administrative changes currently taking place in Syria, Muhammad Ghatfan al-Refai was appointed as a director general for the customs in Syria in succession to Adel Abdul Al.
The paper added that it was rumored since almost two months that a new director general for the customs will be appointed instead of Abdul Al, who stayed in his post until the new director assumed responsibilities.
