Princess Lalla Meryem confers with U.N. officials

Morocco's Princess Lalla Meryem on Wednesday conferred with several United Nations officials on the fringes of the meeting of the preparatory committee of the U.N General Assembly's extraordinary session on Children. Talks were held with President of the 55th session of the U.N General Assembly, Harri Holkeri, as well as with Executive Director of the U.N Fund for Population Activities, Thoraya Obaid.
The Princess also conferred with Queen Rania of Jordan. She also hosted a reception, attended by U.N senior officials, permanent representatives of United Nations member states and other officials.
